About the Author
Jeannie Piazza-Zuniga is an established author having written articles for Preservation Magazine, Theater Historical Society of America, the Miami Herald and others. She has a BFA in Theater from Florida International University and often attends Miami Writers Institute for creative writing. She attended The New England Conservatory of Music and sang with the NEC Chorus with the Boston Symphony Orchestra; She sang as a member of the Civic Choral of Greater Miami and continues singing with the Choristers at John Knox Village. She sang with a classic rock band, The Dreamcatchers, and has acted in No Exit, Sweet Charity, West Side Story and Jesus Christ Super Star. She performed as Mother Goose to hundreds of children in Miami for Alphabet Theater Productions and taught for Dade County Public Schools for many years.
